About this file
This is a project manual for RFB 2026-24, a Public Safety Building Corridor Renovation project in New York. The document outlines the scope of work for comprehensive corridor renovations within the Public Safety Building, including demolition, structural repairs, flooring installation, wall finishes, painting, lighting upgrades, HVAC modifications, and plumbing work. The project encompasses multiple corridor sections throughout the facility with detailed specifications for materials, installation methods, and quality standards. The manual establishes the framework for bidders to understand project requirements, site conditions, and technical specifications necessary to prepare accurate proposals. Specific response dates, due dates, site visit schedules, and bidder's conference information should be referenced in the primary RFB document, as this manual serves as the technical attachment detailing work scope and performance standards rather than administrative timeline details.
The project manual provides detailed specifications for materials, labor, and construction methods required to complete the corridor renovation work to code compliance standards. Pricing terms, contract duration, set-asides, and funding sources are contained within the main RFB 2026-24 document rather than this technical attachment. The manual indicates no business enterprises have been awarded identical or substantially similar procurement contracts within the past five years, establishing this as a new procurement. Bidders should review all associated RFB documents concurrently with this project manual to obtain complete information regarding submission requirements, evaluation criteria, pricing structure, and contract terms.
