About this file
This document is a guide for responding to a solicitation published by the Hampton Roads Sanitation District (HRSD) in the state of Virginia. The solicitation is for the procurement of four each of three different sized right-hand buttweld sectional screws for the Grit Conveyor at the York River Treatment Plant. The detailed specifications for the required grit conveyor sectional screws are provided in Solicitation 407122. Responses must be submitted online through HRSD's Oracle ERP system by June 21, 2024 at 2:30 PM Eastern Time. A pre-bid conference or site visit is not required. HRSD reserves the right to award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, make a separate award of each item, accept or reject any and all bids, and waive informalities. Equals to the specified parts are acceptable provided they meet or exceed the requirements.
The solicitation does not specify any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The contract may be extended for use by other public bodies at the discretion of the awarded contractor, but there is no information provided about any incumbent vendors or current contractors. The budget or potential award value is also not disclosed in the available documentation.
