About this file

This is a Requirements document for milk delivery to the Federal Correctional Institution El Reno under Solicitation Number 15B50726Q00000020. The Department of Justice Bureau of Prisons facility requires milk deliveries with strict compliance mandates for timing, temperature control, and product quality. Deliveries must occur on Tuesdays between 7:00 am and 2:00 pm, excluding federal holidays, with no appointment required. All items must be palletized and delivered via trailer or vehicle with a deck suitable for offloading onto a 4-foot elevated unloading dock. Non-frozen perishable foods must maintain temperatures between 34°F and 40°F, while all frozen products must be delivered at 0°F or below. Products showing evidence of prior thawing will be rejected.

Vendors must strictly adhere to all specifications and delivery schedules, as non-compliance will result in contract cancellation. All items will undergo close inspection, including thawing and cooking as necessary to verify specification compliance. Conditionally received items deemed unacceptable must be picked up by the vendor at their own expense within two weeks of non-compliance notification; items not retrieved within this timeframe will be disposed of by the facility. Vendors who fail to meet delivery schedules or specifications will be indefinitely removed from future awards with this institution.
