About this file

This document provides guidance for submitting Report of Shipment (REPSHIP) notifications for individual hazardous material (HAZMAT) and inert component part shipments within the continental United States (CONUS) or from overseas locations to CONUS. It outlines 15 data elements that must be included in each REPSHIP, such as the shipment date, estimated time of arrival, required delivery date, carrier, bill of lading or manifest number, container information, security risk category, hazard classifications, and contact information for the shipping activity. Notes provide additional instructions for reporting cargo shipped via multiple conveyances or to multiple destinations, and indicate that lot numbers and identification codes are optional but may be included if available. Recipients of REPSHIP notifications include Domestic Customers, Transshipping Activities, Clearance Authorities, Customer Service Branches, and the GACP Transportation office at Hill Air Force Base.
