Attachment 1 - A0010 Questions/Responses
Solicitation R-OPC-23287
No. 544
Original Question Response Can the contractor leverage its existing hardware and software to operate or run Ginnie Mae's applications?
Yes, a contractor can leverage its existing hardware and software to run Ginnie Mae's applications.
Follow-up Question Response It is our understanding that all hardware and software used by a contractor to support Ginnie Mae PPA/CPTA must be segregated and dedicated only to the contract, and cannot be shared with any other operations. Can you please confirm or clarify?
The contractor can use their software and hardware except where we are providing it. If the bidder wants to use their hardware and software for the rest of the GFP it has to be compliant with NIST requirements.
