If approved by National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO)™, online content may be acceptable for refresher classes.

The vendor shall ensure the crane training, evaluation and certification is compliant with the OSHA crane certification requirements as outlined in 29 CFR 1926.1427(j).

The vendor must be accredited by the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO)™ for written testing materials, practical examinations, test administration, grading, equipment and personnel that is reviewed at least every three (3) years.

The Day Labor operator training and evaluation shall result in their NCCCO™ certification based upon equipment type, or type and capacity that is valid for five years.

The vendor can determine the length of the training course and combine modules to match the needs of the Day Labor operators.

The vendor must work with Day Labor on ensuring the hands-on evaluations are performed in accordance with NCCCO™ and are relevant to their typical work tasks. Adequate practice time per student shall be provided for the hands-on portion.
