Industry Day December 3, 2024

DoD Railway Rolling Stock Support Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ)

Presented by: Volpe National Transportation Systems Center Acquisitions Office, R&D Branch V-221

The government intends to solicit a multi-year, multiple award IDIQ:

• Five-year ordering period

• Primarily FFP TOs with some potential for T&M and other types, as needed

• To be determined on a requirement-by-requirement basis and will be noted on the TORFP

• Work may include, but is not limited to, manufacturing or refurbishment of locomotives, rail car spotters, and freight rail cars (boxcars, flat cars, and other types) and the in-the-field inspection/repair/maintenance of new and existing rolling stock to be compliant with DOT, DoD, and industry safety and operational regulation/requirements.
