About this file

This document contains questions and answers regarding an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for Carpet Removal, Purchase, and Installation Services issued on January 2, 2024 by the Maryland Comptroller's Office. The IFB is seeking price quotes for carpet removal, purchase, and installation services for the Legal Division office in Annapolis, Maryland. The bids are due on January 24, 2024. Bidders were allowed to conduct a walk-through on January 10, 2024 to obtain measurements, and drawings were provided, although they are not to scale. There are no MBE requirements for this procurement. The Comptroller will remove most furniture, but some may remain. Vendors must obtain security badges for onsite access. The new carpet is to be installed by February 12, 2024. Bidders are responsible for all measurements, and a small dumpster can be temporarily placed onsite during installation. Eight extra carpet tiles and black paint for the metal base must be provided.

Pricing terms, funding sources, and set-asides are not mentioned. There is no information provided about incumbents or the current environment. This IFB appears to be a one-time procurement for the Comptroller's Legal Division office.
