About this file

This document contains questions and responses related to a janitorial services solicitation for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Three. The solicitation covers janitorial services for the Chipley Headquarters, Marianna Maintenance, Ponce de Leon Operations, and Panama City Operations facilities. Respondents inquired about the current contract, site visits, hours of operation, strip and wax requirements, background checks, and other details. FDOT clarified that there is no current contract, no mandatory site visits but they can be scheduled, and provided the expected service hours and requirements for each location. The solicitation does not require a bid bond, and FDOT plans to award to a single vendor.

Regarding pricing, FDOT stated they do not have a set budget for this contract and cannot provide information on the current contractor's pricing or scope of work. Respondents also inquired about additional cleaning opportunities and exterior cleaning tasks, which FDOT indicated are limited to those specified in the scope of work. The building floorplans are exempt from public records, but vendors can view them by appointment.
