About this file

This document contains questions and answers related to an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for janitorial services at four locations in District Three: Chipley Headquarters, Marianna Maintenance, Ponce de Leon Operations, and Panama City Operations. The ITB provides estimated daily occupant counts for each location, which range from 15 to 387 people. The contract will include renewals, and the FDOT will provide certain consumable supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, and hand soap. The flooring at the facilities is a mix of VCT, ceramic, carpet, and LVT, with estimated percentages provided. The current janitorial services are provided by Respect of Florida, and the selected contractor may be able to retain those employees.

The pricing and funding details are not explicitly stated, but the document indicates the contract will be subject to Florida's minimum wage increases. There are no set-asides or other special requirements mentioned, and the FDOT does not provide information about the incumbent or current environment. The contract term and renewal options are not specified.
