About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for a bid at Danville Correctional Center regarding amplifier equipment and documentation clarification. The document addresses the current amplifier setup at the facility, specifically identifying that there are four Blonder Tongue BIDA 550-50 amplifiers located in buildings C4001 R1, C4002 R2, C4003 R3, and C4004 Rec/Med/Admin/Seg, plus one Blonder Tongue ACA-30-550 in R4 C4016. It is noted that the amplifiers in R4 and Rec/Seg are used and require replacement.

The document also addresses a question about duplicate bid documents, specifically regarding two versions of "Invitation for Bid Vendor Instructions and Requirements B45446," confirming that the bid attachments and descriptions have been corrected, implying there was a documentation issue that has been resolved.

Text version

1. What amps are currently in place at Danville Correctional Center? We need make and model and also where amps are located (building/housing unit numbers…however DCC identifies each building where an amp is installed. E.g. Blonder Tongue (make) / BIDA 550-50 (model) – see pic below. All facility amps are likely NOT all the same….not even the same make. But then again, maybe they are. We want to confirm facility’s ability to push out the requested expanded channel lineup.

0. Blonder Tongue BIDA 550-50 in C4001 R1, C4002 R2, C4003 R3, C4004 Rec/Med/Admin/Seg. Total of 4 BIDA 550-50.

0. R4 C4016 has Blonder Tongue ACA-30-550.

0. The amplifier in R4 and Rec/Seg are used and need replaced.

1. There are 2 documents under File Attachments called “Invitation for Bid Vendor Instructions and Requirements B45446-1.docx” and “…..-2.docx.” We don’t find any difference in these two documents but would like confirmation that they are indeed the same.

1. Bid attachments and descriptions have been corrected.
