About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) addendum for Request for Quote (RFQ) No. 19SP5025Q0025 for the supply and installation of kitchenettes at the U.S. Embassy in Madrid. The Q&A addresses seven specific technical and design clarifications about the project, including electrical installation responsibilities, cabinet and refrigerator specifications, finish requirements, and waste bin cabinet configuration. Key clarifications include that electrical installations will be performed by Embassy personnel, recessed pulls are preferred with optional handles on integrated refrigerators, the existing first-floor refrigerator should not be enclosed in a cabinet, baseboards should be aluminum-colored, furniture must have a matte finish, waste bin cabinets should have a 180-degree rotating tray mechanism, and no additional organic waste bins are required. The solicitation will be amended to incorporate these clarifications.
