About this file
This document contains Questions and Answers related to an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the Florida Department of Financial Services, Division of State Fire Marshal, to obtain operations and maintenance services for the Drinking Water Treatment Plant and Wastewater Treatment Plant at the Florida State Fire College. The ITB requires the contractor to be responsible for compliance testing, but not for renewing the Operating Permit. The contractor is responsible for minor repairs under $1,000, which should be invoiced separately on a cost reimbursement basis, and not incorporated into the monthly fee. The ITB also stipulates that there will be a mandatory pre-response conference held on 11/1/22.
Regarding pricing, the document clarifies that any repair under $1,000 is deemed a minor repair, and the contractor will be reimbursed for the costs of repairs and parts needed to maintain the facilities on a cost reimbursement basis, as stated in the Contractor Responsibilities section.
