About this file

This document contains questions and answers related to Amendment 2 of a marketing contract for Illinois logo products. The State of Illinois Department of Agriculture (AGR) is seeking vendors to provide 1,000 shelf talkers, 5,000 floor graphics, 1,000 pull-up banners, and 1,000 floor displays featuring the Illinois logo. The completed marketing products must meet specific size, material, and design requirements, and the contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible vendor submitting the lowest price. The contract term is from the date of execution through June 30, 2025, with no renewal options specified.

The procurement has been designated as a Small Business Set-Aside, but a waiver has been granted due to the need for a brand name product and the lack of available small business vendors. As a result, the contract will be open to all qualified vendors. The estimated value of the procurement is $98,000, and it will be funded by state funds. The current incumbent contractor is not identified, and no information is provided about the existing marketing environment or any required technology integration.

This Amendment is to provide questions and answers that have been received this far.

1. Could we clarify the measurements for the floor display? Based on required measurements, its does not add up. Overall height is 65.8". Each tier is 10.5". 3 tiers plus the head will be only 43.5“. What it is for the rest 22.3"? And for the depth, overall depth is 27.5". But the tier is only 11.5". From the image you sent, all the 3 designs are similar. The depth of the shelves should be almost the same as the overall depth.

1. The measurements are only estimations, vendors have to provide quotes for pieces that are similar.

2. 22.5” wide x 65.8” height IS THIS THE OVERALL HEIGHT OF THE DISPLAY OR BEFORE THE HEADER IS APPLIED? x 27.5” deep Header 20.5” wide x 12” high Shelf: 20.5” wide x 10.5” high x 11.5” deep Is there any reason the widths and depths of the shelf and the display footprint are really different? Why would the display extend 16” behind the shelf? And does this mean they are requesting 2” thick walls?

2. The measurements are only estimations, vendors have to provide quotes for pieces that are similar.
