About this file
This is an Amendment of Solicitation (Amendment 0002) issued by the National Cemetery Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs, Central CO office located in Triangle, VA for solicitation 36C78626Q50106. The amendment is effective March 4, 2026, and addresses contractor questions regarding the requirement. The quote response due date remains March 20, 2026, with all other terms and conditions unchanged. The contracting officer is Marshand Boone, and the amendment was signed on March 13, 2026.
The amendment includes responses to two contractor questions. The first question addressed whether a 15-yard dumpster on a more frequent schedule could substitute for the standard 40-yard roll-off dumpster requested approximately six times per year. The government clarified that the primary purpose of the 40-yard dumpster is to accommodate headstones, but confirmed there is no objection to using a smaller dumpster as long as the cemetery can dispose of headstones in it. The second question inquired about the current incumbent contractor. The government responded that there is no current incumbent, no existing contract in place, and that the National Cemetery Administration is currently obtaining dumpster services through monthly purchase card transactions.

Contractor Question and Answers
1. There is a price request for a 40 yard roll off dumped around 6 x per year. Is the reason to minimize traffic in and out of the cemetery to help maintain dignity decorum? I Just wanted to know if an option of doing a 15-yard dumped on a more frequent schedule would be an option if it helps save money?
Answer: The main reason the cemetery gets the 40-yard dumpster is to put headstones in there.
There is no objection to the smaller one as long as the cemetery can put the headstones in it.
2. Could you please advise who the current incumbent contractor is for this requirement?
Answer: There is no current incumbent. There is currently no contract in place. There is monthly pick-up via purchase card.
