I'm putting together my submission for this listing and have a quick question on Attachment B. The Unit Cost is for "per CY", so you want 100 units per month in 20 to 25 CY truck deliveries?
Yes, there is limited space in the storage bin.
In the past they have only been able to use the dump trucks that were anywhere from 10 to 16 CY to maneuver into the delivery area. It is very tight. I doubt that a semitruck with a tandem trailer would be able to get into the delivery area.
1. The Attachment says it shows the "route" but I'm confused about the delivery location. Is it site A or site B?
It will be site B
2. The RFQ says the material will be delivered in 20 or 25 CY "trailers". Does this mean you want the material delivered inside of a 20 or 25 CY open top dumpster? Or will the soil be dumped in a staging pile to be used as needed? My supplier is only able to deliver in 10.5 CY per delivery in a dump truck.

It will be dumped close to the staging area B, then we will push it into the holding bays. Only 10.5CY to 16CY dump trucks can navigate in this area due to it being a confined space.
Hey David , I had a quick question on the top soil contract for Fort Gibson. I have a reputable distributor that meets all of the demands of the contract for the soil specifics but the issue is the option years. We can give option year numbers but they are very difficult because of inflation and fuel costs etc . The base year would obviously stand and be a fixed number but the option years would possibly need to be revisited if quoted, especially 3-4 years out. Is this okay ? I have never really had to do this on a service contract but there is more moving parts with this one. Just was looking for some advice before quoted, thank you .
We intend to award a firm-fixed price contract, which means the prices for the base and options - (if exercised) will be set for the duration of the contract.
