About this file
This document appears to be a question and answer (Q&A) file related to a state or local government contract opportunity for the removal and installation of new carpet. The contract includes the removal and replacement of 4" vinyl cove base in specified areas on the 4th and 5th floors of a building. The contractor is responsible for providing a dumpster for the disposal of the old carpet, which can be placed near the loading dock. The document confirms the specific areas on the 4th and 5th floors that will receive new carpet, excluding private offices. A mandatory site visit is required, despite any previous walkthroughs of the areas.
The pricing and other contractual terms are not detailed in this Q&A document. However, it appears this is an active procurement with a defined scope of work, and the contracting agency is responsive to bidder questions to ensure a clear understanding of the requirements.
