About this file

This document is a Q&A (Question and Answer) document related to an RFP (Request for Proposals) issued by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for Independent Cost Estimator (ICE) Services for FDOT District Four. The RFP is for the SW 10th St. Corridor project, also referred to as "The Project". The ICE firms do not need to meet specific prequalification requirements outlined in the Scope of Work, as those are for the Design-Build contractor team. The RFP allows for more than one individual to fill each job classification, with the firm providing the appropriate rate for the position. The Executive Summary is included in the 10-page count for the proposal. The bid opening date is November 13, 2023.

The pricing and contract terms are not explicitly stated in the Q&A document. However, the RFP is for ICE services, which suggests the contract will be for professional services. There is no mention of any set-asides, incumbents, or funding sources in the provided information.
