About this file

This document is an amendment to a state contract solicitation for Drugs and Pharmaceuticals issued by the State of Illinois. The state is requesting four separate price lists from vendors - WAC pricing for both 340B and non-340B qualified entities, as well as PHS pricing for both 340B and non-340B qualified entities, all with vendor markup included. The formulary was provided to ensure the required drugs and pharmaceuticals would be included in the vendor's catalog, and vendors can provide alternate manufacturers as long as the required products are available.

Regarding pricing, the state is seeking both WAC and PHS pricing, with and without vendor markup, for 340B and non-340B qualified entities. The state will allow for alternate manufacturers as long as the required drugs on the provided formulary can be supplied by the vendor. No other salient details, such as response deadlines, award information, or contract term, are provided in the document.

Amendment 1 B-16903 JPMC Drugs and Pharmaceuticals

Question 1:Are you looking for NDC level pricing or just the overall mark-up and discounts for WAC and PHS pricing?
Answer:The State is requested four separate price lists. The first list would be the WAC price list for non-340B qualified entities. The second would be the WAC price list for non-340B qualified entities with vendor markup included. The third list would be the PHS pricing for 340B qualified entities. The fourth list would be the PHS price list for 340B qualified entities with vendor markup included.
Question 2:Also, some products seem to have substitutes included on the formulary (you have the same pharmaceutical, strength, package size but from different vendors). Do you anticipate we would be able to provide the same pharmaceutical/ strength/ package size from all these vendors? Or is a single provider sufficient? How should we communicate alternate manufacturers that are not on your formulary?
Answer:The formulary was included in order to ensure that those drugs and pharmaceuticals would be included in the vendor’s catalog. Drug manufacturers can vary as long as all pharmaceuticals on the formulary can be ordered through the bidding vendor.
