About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) #2 issued by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for Advertisement Number DOT-ITN-26-5001-ROW, which pertains to District Five Appraisal, Appraisal Review, Right-of-Way Cost Estimates, Right-of-Way Design Support, and Miscellaneous Valuation Support Services. The document is dated July 15, 2025, and addresses a specific inquiry from a current contract holder about contract extension and future bidding opportunities.

In response to the vendor's question, FDOT clearly states that they will not be renewing any existing contracts. However, all vendors currently holding District Five Appraisal, Appraisal Review, and Miscellaneous Support contracts awarded from the previous solicitation DOT-ITN-21-5001-ROW, which are expiring later in the year, are eligible to bid on the new contract opportunity. This indicates that while current contracts will not be automatically extended, existing vendors are welcome to participate in the new competitive bidding process.
