About this file

The document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) #2 issued by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for Advertisement Number DOT-ITN-26-5001-ROW, concerning District Five Appraisal, Appraisal Review, Right-of-Way Cost Estimates, Right-of-Way Design Support, and Miscellaneous Valuation Support Services. The Q&A addresses a specific vendor inquiry about contract renewal, with FDOT clearly stating that they will not be renewing any existing contracts. Instead, all current vendors holding District Five Appraisal, Appraisal Review, and Miscellaneous Support contracts awarded from the previous solicitation DOT-ITN-21-5001-ROW, which are expiring later this year, are eligible to bid on the new contract opportunity.

The document indicates that the department is seeking to replace existing contracts with a new solicitation, providing an opportunity for current vendors to compete for new service agreements. While the Q&A does not provide extensive details about pricing, contract value, or specific requirements, it signals a transition process for continuing right-of-way and appraisal support services in FDOT's District Five, which covers nine counties: Brevard, Flagler, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Sumter, and Volusia. The Q&A serves as a clear communication to existing contractors about the non-renewal of current contracts and their eligibility to participate in the upcoming bidding process.
