Question

Page 10 of the RFQQ, 4.4 Bid Submittal Checklist states that bidders may not include unsolicited materials. I was going to include a letter of interest and resumes for the team. Does that count? Or should I not include those items?

Response

As a letter of interest and resumes were not specifically requested, they would be considered unsolicited materials. You do have the opportunity to include experience in the Performance Requirements and Factors exhibit (B).

Question

Does the below in Exhibit A-1 Bidders Certification document just mean we need to provide insurance (if awarded) within 24 hours of receiving the insurance? Or 24 hours of signing the contract? According to my agent, this would need to go to an underwriter and that could take more than 24 hours.

Response

For the Bidder will obtain required insurance – it is 24 hours after receiving notice as the apparent successful bidder, which is before finalizing the contract. There is a 3rd option that includes attaching an explanation as to why you do not have current insurance and why you will not be able to provide such within 24 hours. Choosing this option will not cause an automatic rejection of the bid.
