About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) set for a Commercial Fryer procurement (Bid Number B-46874) involving the Illinois Secretary of State. The procurement seeks a 208V 2-unit electric floor fryer system, with a specific question raised about optional electronic basket lifts. The vendor Frymaster noted that while basket lifts were present on a previous model, they are not required for the current fryer system.

The Q&A document reveals a technical clarification point regarding optional equipment, specifically whether bidders should include electronic basket lift functionality in their quotes. The question suggests that while the previous fryer model had basket lifts, they are not a mandatory requirement for this procurement. The document indicates a focused, detail-oriented approach to specifying equipment requirements, allowing potential vendors to seek precise guidance on product configuration before submitting their proposals.
