About this file
This document contains questions and answers related to an RFP (RFP 48401-DOT0003111) issued by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) for Statewide Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Maintenance. The RFP seeks proposals from experienced firms to provide maintenance, repair, replacement, installation, and management of GDOT's ITS devices, related hardware, and infrastructure. The initial replacement phase includes 35 Type 1 Dynamic Message Signs (DMS), 35 Type 3 DMS, 175 CCTV cameras, and 175 Vehicle Detection System/Automated Incident Detection (VDS/AID) cameras. The contract term and quantities may be adjusted during the contract period. The RFP requires the successful offeror to align the ITS Asset Management System (IAMS) dataset with GDOT's Facilities Asset Management System (FAMS).
Pricing must include the cost of the assets plus all associated procurement, installation, and testing fees. GDOT will provide the existing ITS asset data and does not require field verifications. The offeror will be responsible for updating all changes to existing sites within the FAMS. GDOT will handle the promotion between environments and provide a sandbox for the offeror. The offeror must adhere to NIST-800-53 standards for physical and cyber security requirements.
