About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document from the Division of the State Guard in Tallahassee, Florida regarding solicitation FSG-RFP-24/25-1008 for the procurement of two Bell 412EP Rotary Wing Aircraft. The document addresses 10 clarifying questions submitted by potential respondents, covering technical specifications and submission requirements. Key clarifications include allowing electronic signatures, modifying aircraft usage limits to allow up to 10,000 hours of total time while eliminating landing cycle restrictions, and confirming that interior auxiliary fuel tanks are acceptable but not required.

The Q&A provides important technical clarifications about optional equipment, noting that installed hoists are preferred but not required on both helicopters, and that there is no preference for keying systems between the two aircraft. The document also confirms that optional equipment pricing can be listed on separate price sheets for each helicopter using a similar format to what was provided. Two section reference corrections were made, changing references from Section 6.0.3 and 6.0.4 to Sections 5.0.3 and 5.0.4 respectively.
