About this file

This Q&A document from the Arkansas Department of Transformation and Shared Services (TSS) Office of State Procurement (OSP) addresses bidder questions for a decal procurement solicitation (S000000369) on behalf of the Department of Finance and Administration (DFA). The document contains 16 questions and answers covering various aspects of the procurement, including bid submission requirements, decal specifications, material requirements, and artwork requirements. The solicitation is for various types of decals including general decals, military medal decals, permit decals, vending decals, parking decals, and IFTA decals, with the intention to award to a single contractor.

The Q&A clarifies several technical specifications, including the acceptability of 4-color process printing, material requirements for 3M products, and coating specifications. It confirms that estimated quantities are provided in the Official Bid Price Sheet in ARBuy, and that actual samples cannot be mailed to vendors for evaluation. The document also addresses questions about artwork files, decal dimensions, and confirms that Type 34 Decals have been removed from the solicitation. Several questions led to references to a REVISED IFB, suggesting that the original solicitation document was updated during the procurement process.
