About this file
This document is a question and answer (Q&A) file related to a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Florida Department of Military Affairs for a new cloud-based Fiscal Tracking System (FTS). The Department seeks to replace its existing 20-year-old system to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of tracking and managing financial data related to state and federal cooperative agreements. The new system should be capable of handling up to 1TB of data and supporting 15-20 users processing an average of 450-500 transactions monthly. The Department is open to both commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and custom-built solutions that meet the specific requirements outlined in the Scope of Work. The system is expected to be operational by January 2025 and must adhere to NIST security standards.
The budget for this project is $200-$300K. There is no preference given to local Florida companies, but the vendor must be available to provide assistance as needed. The Department is looking for the system to include features such as cash balance and transaction reporting, project management, procurement and invoice verification, custom querying, and reporting capabilities, as well as customizable dashboards.
