About this file

This document is an Appendix D to a Performance Work Statement (PWS) that details the maintenance and repair requirements for fire protection systems at Aviano and Ghedi Air Bases in Italy. The PWS Appendix lists the contractor submittals required, such as ITM (Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance) service report forms, quality control plan, safety data sheets, organizational chart, and other operational documents. The submittals have specific due dates, ranging from submission with the bid proposal to within 10 working days after contract award. The appendix also outlines the weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting requirements for the ITM services.

The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation (FA568224Q0009) issued by the Department of the Air Force United States Air Forces in Europe - Air Forces Africa for fire protection system maintenance and repair services at the two air bases in Italy. The services will be acquired using FAR Part 12 procedures for commercial items and FAR Part 13 simplified acquisition procedures. The solicitation seeks firm-fixed price quotes from contractors to perform the required maintenance and repair work in accordance with the PWS and host nation laws.
