About this file
The document is a comprehensive spreadsheet listing the City of St. Petersburg's Public Art Collection, detailing 89 art pieces for which labels/placards are needed. The collection includes both indoor and outdoor artworks created between 1945 and 2021, featuring diverse mediums such as oil on canvas, sculpture, glass, ceramic, textile, and mixed media. Artists include Christopher Still, Mark Aeling, Paul Eppling, and many others, with pieces ranging from small 3x4 indoor labels to 6x9 outdoor weather-resistant signage.
The spreadsheet systematically catalogs each artwork with critical metadata including the public art name, artist, medium, creation date, and specified label requirements. Each entry is marked to include the "City of St. Petersburg Public Art Collection & Logo" and is categorized by label type (indoor 6x9, indoor 3x4, outdoor 6x9, or outdoor 3x4), indicating the specific mounting and durability needs for each piece. The document serves as a detailed inventory and specification guide for the procurement of custom labels that will provide comprehensive information about each artwork in the city's public art collection.
