About this file
This document is a comprehensive set of contract clauses and provisions for a federal solicitation (RFQ FA852425Q0009) issued by the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center. The solicitation is for repair services of the Pilot Warning Alarm Set (NSN 6340-01-153-8073) used in TH-1H helicopters, with a fleet size of 27 aircraft located at Fort Novosel, AL. The contract will restore 12 total units to serviceable condition over a one-year performance period, with an anticipated award by September 30, 2025.
The Pilot Warning Alarm Set is a commercial item that functions as an RPM warning detector operating on DC power, designed to sense and interpret rotor and engine RPMs. When rotor RPM exceeds normal limits, it displays an "RPM WARN" message on the Multi-Function Display and produces an audio signal in pilot headsets. The solicitation is not a small business set-aside and will evaluate offers based solely on price. The contract line item (CLIN) structure includes 12 units of the Pilot Warning Alarm Set and an additional unit for No Fault Found/Beyond Economic Repair (NFF/BER) classification.
