About this file
The document is a project specification file for the McLevy Hall Historical Repair/Restoration Phase 1 project in Bridgeport, Connecticut, detailing project boundary and site restoration requirements. The file contains two aerial images with green-outlined areas indicating the project boundary and zones for soil restoration, specifically addressing sidewalk closures on State Street and tree protection considerations. The project requires securing permits from the City Engineering Department and mandates careful management of the "critical root zone" around existing trees.
The site restoration requirements are explicitly outlined, requiring contractors to 1) aerate soils marked in green, 2) re-seed the soil using a city-approved seed mix, and 3) provide a 90-day warranty on the grass. The aerial images show a detailed site layout with a building centrally located, surrounded by streets and trees, with precise green boundary markers indicating the areas that will require restoration work. The specifications emphasize careful environmental management and restoration of the site to its original condition following construction activities.
