About this file

This file is a Project Manual containing exhibits for the Hartwick Pines State Park Visitor Center Renovation project administered by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. The project involves comprehensive renovation and modernization of the existing visitor center facility at Hartwick Pines State Park. The manual includes detailed specifications, site plans, architectural drawings, and supporting documentation necessary for bidders to understand the scope of work, existing conditions, and design requirements. The exhibits provide visual representations of the current facility conditions, proposed layout modifications, and technical specifications for construction and renovation work. Bidders are required to review all exhibits in conjunction with the project manual to prepare accurate proposals for the renovation work.

The second exhibit document (2 of 2) contains supplementary architectural plans, details, and specifications that complement the primary project manual. These materials establish the technical baseline and performance standards required for all renovation work, including structural modifications, mechanical and electrical upgrades, accessibility improvements, and finishes throughout the visitor center. The exhibits serve as binding contract documents that define the contractor's obligations and performance criteria. All bidders must thoroughly review these materials prior to submission to ensure compliance with the specified requirements and to accurately estimate project costs and schedules.

NOTES:

Laminated wall mounted kiosk with a 50" monitor in it. On the kiosk would be several RFID cubes showing various animals and plants of the eco system. Removing a cube and placing it on the space to the right (RFID Reader under the table) would trigger a slide to change that shows what happens to the eco system without that component of nature.

If not played with after a certain amount of time a slideshow of images would play of area wildlife. This would act as the attract screen.

This Interactive would require a brightsign player (or equivalent) a controller and the non touch monitor, along with an RFID reader and several chips laminated into graphics

ETL, Inc. maintains liability limited to cost of analysis. This report relates only to the samples reported and may not be reproduced without written approval by ETL, Inc. Test Method EPA 600/R-93-116 & EPA 600/M4-82/020 or NYSDOH-ELAP item 198.1 and/or 198.6 was used to analyze all samples. Matrix interference and/or resolution limits (i.e. detecting asbestos in non-friable organically bound materials) may yield false results in certain circumstances. Quantitative transmission electron microscopy (TEM) is currently the only method that can pronounce materials as non-asbestos containing. Interpretation and use of test results are the responsibility of the client. ETL, Inc. is not responsible for the accuracy of the results when requested to physically separate and analyze layered samples. Any

PLM results below 10% should be re-analyzed using the EPA recommended Point Count method. Any material that has greater than 1% asbestos content is considered to be an Asbestos Containing Material (ACM). These materials are regulated by both OSHA and the EPA and must be treated accordingly. Results are related to only to samples that were tested. An estimate of uncertainty can be provided at the client's request.

ETL, Inc. maintains liability limited to cost of analysis.
