About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers file for Solicitation No. PR16180143 (New Van), issued on 4 September 2026. The document addresses three clarification questions from prospective vendors regarding the procurement of a new van for an Embassy.
The first clarification confirms that Embassy vehicles are purchased with tax-exemption status. The second addresses cost allocation, specifying that quotations must include first-year insurance, registration fees, ownership endorsement fees, and Puspakom inspection fees as additional line items in the proposal. The third clarification establishes evaluation criteria, indicating that any vehicle meeting the needs outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW) will be considered for award, even if certain items fall short of specific SOW requirements. This language suggests flexibility in the evaluation process as long as the overall needs are addressed.
