About this file

This document is a Packaging Requirements form for a military procurement with Purchase Instrument Number FD20302400395-00. The document specifies detailed packaging standards for three specific item numbers (3010013672917PN, 3010DTH240095PN, 3010OAH24003FPN), requiring compliance with MIL-STD 129 (Revision R) and MIL-STD 2073-1 (Revision E). Key packaging requirements include using debarked wood and heat-treated materials (heated to 56 degrees Centigrade for 30 minutes) for all wooden packaging materials to prevent invasive species transmission, with certification required by the American Lumber Standards Committee. The packaging instructions mandate 6 units of desiccant, military packaging standards, specific shipping container markings, and detailed unit packaging specifications including weight, dimensions, and cube measurements. The document is issued by the 406 SCMS/GULAA organization, with the packaging specialist Michael J. Lee, and is dated 11 JUN 2024.
