About this file
The file is an image (PIC - Taped Rope Closeup 20250813.jpg) related to a Pre-Solicitation Sources Sought Notice for playground repairs at Buckley Space Force Base. The opportunity involves repairing, replacing, and refurbishing playground equipment and surfaces at two Child Development Centers (CDCs) - Crested Butte and A-Basin. The outdoor playground areas have been exposed to Colorado weather for several years, resulting in safety issues identified during inspections, with some equipment no longer usable.
The solicitation is issued by the Department of the Air Force Space Command, with the solicitation number FA2543SSTF0002. The government is seeking interested vendors to address safety write-ups and correct deficiencies in the playground areas. A site visit will be coordinated after potential vendors are identified, and pictures of the current equipment and surfaces are available for review. This Sources Sought Notice appears to be a preliminary step to gauge market interest before formal solicitation of playground repair services.
