About this file

This document is a set of questions and answers (Q&As) related to a state and local contract opportunity from the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) for the purchase and delivery of a 10.5-foot by 30-foot float assembly to be added to the existing dock at Roses Lake in Manson, Washington. The Q&As provide details about the existing dock, including its manufacturer and dimensions, as well as clarification that the awarded vendor will be responsible for supplying and delivering the float assembly but not for the final installation, which will be handled by WDFW's in-house maintenance crew. The contract opportunity is open to vendors across multiple counties and cities in the state of Washington.

The document also includes the full description of the contract opportunity, which specifies that WDFW is seeking the additional float assembly to create an "L" shape dock at the Roses Lake Access. The contract does not require the vendor to perform any installation work, only to supply and deliver the float assembly. There is enough room on-site for a standard 18-wheeler truck to enter and turn around.

STATE OF WASHINGTON

Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife PF190418AS Questions & Answers – UPDATED 10/21/2019

Q – Do you have any pictures of the existing dock at Roses Lake?

(UPDATED) A – Below are pictures of the current dock at Roses Lake – these were not available until 10/21/19 at 10:53a. The site is open to the public during daylight hours.

Q – Do you have additional information about the existing dock at Roses Lake?

A – The existing dock is manufactured by SuperDeck Systems and it measures 7 ft x 30 ft. This is the only information available at this time, but if more information is needed, please send in questions to contractspurchasing@dfw.wa.gov

Q - The bid title says “assembly”, but are you asking for the contractor to supply the materials or just assemble?

A – We need all the materials for the additional float deck assembly, including any supplies required to install it and the installations instructions. The float deck should be ready to install when it is delivered to Roses Lake. The awarded vendor will not be required to install the additional float deck at the end location.

(NEW) Q – Is there room to assemble onsite? This is a 10.5’ dock and will not transport easily.

A - This contract is just for the contractor to supply and deliver the dock. Our in-house maintenance crew will do the final installation. There is enough room on site for a standard 18-wheeler truck to enter and turn around.
