About this file

This document contains questions and answers related to a state of Washington contract opportunity for the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) to procure a 10.5 ft x 30 ft float assembly for the Roses Lake Boat Access in Manson, WA. The additional float assembly will be added to the existing SuperDeck float to create an "L" shaped dock. WDFW is requesting that the vendor supply all necessary materials and assembly instructions, but will not require the vendor to install the float at the final location. No pictures of the existing dock are currently available, but will be posted to WEBS once provided. The bid title indicates "assembly", but WDFW has clarified that they require the vendor to supply all materials and have the float deck ready to install upon delivery.

The contract opportunity covers various counties and jurisdictions in the state of Washington. No pricing or funding details are provided, nor are there any specifics on set-asides, incumbents, or contract term/renewal options. The responses indicate this is a straightforward procurement for the required float assembly materials to be delivered to the Roses Lake location.

STATE OF WASHINGTON

Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife PF190418AS Questions & Answers

Q – Do you have any pictures of the existing dock at Roses Lake?

A – No we do not have pictures at this time, but pictures have been requested and should be available soon. Pictures will be posted to WEBS once available.

Q – Do you have additional information about the existing dock at Roses Lake?

A – The existing dock is manufactured by SuperDeck Systems and it measures 7 ft x 30 ft. This is the only information available at this time, but if more information is needed, please send in questions to contractspurchasing@dfw.wa.gov

Q - The bid title says “assembly”, but are you asking for the contractor to supply the materials or just assemble?

A – We need all the materials for the additional float deck assembly, including any supplies required to install it and the installations instructions. The float deck should be ready to install when it is delivered to Roses Lake. The awarded vendor will not be required to install the additional float deck at the end location.
