About this file

This document is Part C: Supplemental Conditions/Special Provisions for Commissioning Services at the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) Phase 5a Improvements project in Florida. The document outlines detailed requirements for contracted firms working at the convention center, including mandatory security protocols, background check procedures, and operational guidelines. Key requirements include obtaining a Level 1 (5-year) FDLE Background check for all staff and subcontractors, which must be approved by Orange County's Security team before accessing any county facilities. Contractors must also arrange for photo ID badges, coordinate facility access, and adhere to strict communication and reporting protocols using the e-Builder platform.

The document specifies extensive administrative and operational requirements, such as daily and monthly reporting, fire watch procedures, transport device restrictions, and utility coordination. Contractors are responsible for all costs associated with background investigations, permit renewals, and potential failed inspections. The project requires detailed documentation, including daily construction reports with specific content requirements, project progress meetings, and a comprehensive log of activities. Additional provisions cover fire protection system installation, transport device usage within the convention center, and coordination with utility companies, emphasizing the complex and structured nature of working within this high-traffic, operational facility.
