About this file
This is an AFMC Form 158 Packaging Requirements document for Purchase Instrument Number FD20302301677-03, issued by the 406 SCMS/GULAA organization on September 22, 2026. The document specifies military packaging and marking standards for six line items (4810013635096FW, 4810013644092FW, 4810DTH240178, 4810OAH2400C0, 4810OSH250148, 4810OSH26003AFW) using MIL-STD-2073-1 Revision E and MIL-STD-129 Revision R standards.
All wooden lumber, pallets, and containers must be constructed from debarked wood and heat-treated to 56 degrees Centigrade (133 degrees Fahrenheit) for 30 minutes to comply with United Nations restrictions on wood packaging material and prevent invasive species such as the pinewood nematode. Certification and marking by an accredited agency recognized by the American Lumber Standards Committee (ALSC) is required, with reference to International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures (ISPM No. 15). Packaging is classified as MIL Long Line Packaging at preservation level MIL and packaging level B, with unit pack dimensions of 14.5" x 14.5" x 16.5" and weight of 11.20 pounds per unit. Supplemental packaging instructions require ESD (electrostatic discharge) protection, reuseable containers, and HCI (handling, care, and inspection) compliance. Shipping containers must comply with MIL-STD-129 and include additional markings such as unit serial numbers, OEM names, and OEM model numbers as specified on supporting documentation. The packaging specialist is Dalbert J. Cannady, contactable at 405-736-1830 or 336-1830.
