About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the production and delivery of promotional products to support the National Veterans Financial Resource Center (FINVET) program under the VA Office of Mental Health and Suicide Prevention. The SOW details the required scope of work, specific tasks, product specifications, quantities, and delivery schedule for items such as imprinted pens, sticky notes, notepads, grocery bags, magnetic clips, and carabiners over a base year plus four option years. The contractor will work closely with the Rocky Mountain Mental Illness, Research, Education, and Clinical Center (RM MIRECC) to design, produce, and ship the promotional items, ensuring FINVET branding is utilized. The SOW outlines quality control, packaging, and shipping requirements, with delivery to the VA Hines Distribution Center in Illinois. Pricing is provided for each line item annually over the contract term.

The related federal contract opportunity is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the same promotional products and services described in the SOW. The RFQ has a solicitation number of 36C25924Q0651 and is a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs). The RFQ provides the line item details, delivery location, and evaluation factors. Quotes are due by 4:00pm MT on August 19, 2024, with the Government reserving the right to make award based on initial quotes received.

1) STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)

as of 06/18/2024

1. Contract Title: National Veterans Financial Resource Center (FINVET) Promotional Items

2. Background: FINVET, the National Veterans Financial Resource Center, was created by the VA Office of Mental Health and Suicide Prevention because financial well-being is related to better mental health and lower risk of suicide. In line with the VA Suicide Prevention Strategy and the President's National Strategy for Reducing Military and Veteran Suicide, FINVET takes a proactive approach to boost protective factors. Our mission is clear: we want to act as a bridge, linking Veterans to resources that help them better manage their money, so that every Veteran can earn more, save more, and keep their money safe. The Rocky Mountain Mental Illness, Research, Education, and Clinical Center (RM MIRECC) for Suicide Prevention conducts research, education, and clinical work aimed at preventing suicide among Veterans.
