About this file

This is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act (SCA) issued by the U.S. Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration for Iowa and Nebraska counties, effective as of May 13, 2026 (Wage Determination No. 2015-5085, Revision 28).

The document establishes prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits for service contract work performed in Harrison, Mills, and Pottawattamie counties in Iowa, and Cass, Douglas, Sarpy, Saunders, and Washington counties in Nebraska. It lists over 200 occupation codes and classifications across multiple service sectors including administrative support, automotive service, food preparation, furniture repair, general services, health occupations, information and arts, information technology, educational occupations, laundry and dry cleaning, machine tool operation, materials handling and packing, mechanics and maintenance, personal needs, plant and system operations, protective service, recreation, stevedoring, and technical occupations. Wage rates range from $12.74 to $48.96 per hour depending on the occupation. The determination requires all occupations to receive health and welfare benefits of $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours per week, $222 per week, or $962 per month), vacation of 2-5 weeks based on tenure, 11 paid holidays annually, and uniform allowances of $1.35 per week where applicable. Special pay differentials apply to hazardous duty positions (4-8 percent differential) and certain occupations including air traffic controllers and weather observers receive night pay and Sunday premium pay. Computer professionals meeting specific exemption criteria may be excluded from the wage determination requirements. Contractors must conform unlisted job classifications to the established wage structure, submit conformance requests to the Department of Labor within 30 days of contract award, and provide affected employees with written copies of their wage determinations.
