About this file

This is a specifications document for the Baylor Women's Correctional Institution Infirmary Expansion project in Delaware. The project involves the expansion and renovation of the infirmary facility at Baylor Women's Correctional Institution to increase medical capacity and improve healthcare services for the facility's inmate population. The specifications outline the technical requirements, construction standards, and design parameters for the infirmary expansion, including architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The document establishes detailed performance criteria and materials standards that bidders must meet in their proposals and construction execution.

The specifications include requirements for compliance with applicable Delaware state codes, federal healthcare facility standards, and correctional institution operational guidelines. The document establishes quality standards for construction materials, equipment installations, and workmanship throughout the project. Bidders are required to demonstrate their understanding of the specialized nature of correctional healthcare facilities and their ability to manage construction activities within an operating correctional institution while maintaining security protocols and operational continuity.
