About this file

This document is the Ohio Attorney General's Office (AGO) Quick Quote Submission Standards for Suppliers, which establishes procurement guidelines and requirements for vendors responding to AGO purchase opportunities.

Suppliers must comply with all Quick Quote Standards and Instructions, with non-compliant submissions subject to rejection. The AGO reserves the right to reject any submission deemed not in its best interest, decline to do business with any supplier, or cancel or reissue the Quick Quote at its sole discretion. If suppliers are offering goods or services under a State Contract (such as STS or MMA), submissions must include the State contract number and expiration date, and the AGO may give preference to such suppliers even if their pricing exceeds non-contract responses. The procurement and any resulting purchase shall be governed by Ohio law, and performance is contingent upon appropriated funds in accordance with ORC 126.07; if funding is not continued by the Ohio General Assembly, the purchase will terminate without further AGO obligation.

For applicable situations, suppliers reselling software must warrant that they have the right to grant the license and all necessary permissions for the AGO to use the software for business purposes. Additionally, all supplier employees, subcontractors, and subcontractor employees are subject to the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation's Visitor and Non-FOP AGO Employee DNA Sample Collection protocol. Suppliers requiring the AGO to review specific terms and conditions must submit them with their bid; unless explicitly agreed to in writing by the AGO, no supplier terms will be valid or enforceable, and "click-through," "shrink-wrap," "browse-wrap," or unilateral terms are not binding. AGO employees are not authorized to modify these Standards.
