About this file
This is a Scope of Work document for the State of Rhode Island's MPA 620 Marine Craft Service, Repair and Maintenance contract opportunity. The State of Rhode Island seeks qualified vendors to provide comprehensive service, repair, and maintenance services for its large fleet of boats and marine craft sourced from multiple manufacturers. The open enrollment establishes a list of pre-qualified vendors who can respond to task orders as maintenance and repair needs arise. The contract structure allows the State to efficiently manage its diverse marine craft fleet by leveraging multiple qualified service providers capable of handling equipment from various manufacturers.
The document establishes a vendor qualification and pre-qualification framework rather than a single fixed-price arrangement, enabling the State to issue individual task orders with specific pricing and scope requirements as needed. Qualified vendors must demonstrate technical expertise, proper licensing, and capability to service marine equipment across multiple brands and manufacturers. The open enrollment approach allows the State flexibility in resource allocation and prevents dependence on a single service provider, while vendors benefit from potential ongoing business opportunities through the established vendor list.
