About this file
This is a Disclosure Statement document issued by Events DC (the Washington Convention and Sports Authority) in the District of Columbia for a Generator Service and Maintenance contract opportunity. The document establishes disclosure requirements for all principals involved in bidding on or performing work related to this solicitation. Bidders must submit signed and dated statements disclosing any past or present business, familial, or personal relationships with Events DC Board members and key staff personnel. The disclosure applies to relationships with the eleven-member board of directors, including Chairman Leif Dormsjo and Treasurer Cherrie Doggett, as well as senior leadership spanning the organization's executive, legal, financial, operational, and administrative functions.
The disclosure statement provides two submission pathways: bidders with no reportable relationships may submit a signed statement confirming the absence of such relationships, while bidders with existing relationships must provide detailed descriptions of the nature and extent of those relationships along with a certification of accuracy. All disclosures must be signed by each principal to whom the statement applies. This requirement ensures transparency and allows Events DC to identify and manage potential conflicts of interest throughout the procurement process for generator service and maintenance services.
