About this file

This is a Disclosure Statement issued by Events DC (the Washington Convention and Sports Authority) in the District of Columbia, establishing conflict of interest and relationship disclosure requirements for principals involved in the Invitation for Bid (IFB) for Replacement of Meeting Room Special Lite Doors. The disclosure statement requires each principal to submit a signed and dated declaration disclosing any past or present business, familial, or personal relationships with Events DC Board of Directors members (including Chairman Leif Dormsjo, Treasurer Cherrie Doggett, and nine additional board members) and key staff members across various executive and operational positions (including President and CEO Angie M. Gates, General Counsel Nicole Becton Jackson, and approximately twenty additional senior management and leadership personnel). Principals with no relationships may submit a signed statement indicating no conflicts, while those with existing relationships must provide a detailed description of the nature of such relationships.

The disclosure requirement serves as a standard conflict of interest management mechanism for the procurement process and must be executed by each applicable principal involved in the bid submission. The certification statement obligates signatories to verify the accuracy and completeness of their relationship disclosures to the best of their knowledge and belief. This requirement applies uniformly to all bidders responding to the IFB, with signed and dated statements required as part of the bid package submission process.
