About this file
This is a Disclosure Statement issued by the Washington Convention and Sports Authority, trading as Events DC, in the District of Columbia for a Uniform Purchase Services solicitation. The document requires all principals submitting proposals to disclose any past or present business, familial, or personal relationships with Events DC Board of Directors members, including Chairman Leif Dormsjo, Treasurer Cherrie Doggett, and nine additional board members, as well as key staff members across executive and operational levels. Proposers must submit a signed and dated statement reflecting the nature of any such relationships or certifying that no relationships exist. The disclosure requirement applies to all principals associated with bidding firms and must be signed by each affected individual.
The disclosure statement serves as a conflict-of-interest and transparency mechanism within the solicitation process. Proposers with identified relationships must provide detailed certification statements outlining the specific nature of those connections to Events DC leadership and staff. This requirement ensures compliance with organizational policies regarding vendor objectivity and ethical procurement practices for the Uniform Purchase Services contract opportunity.
