The contract will include a base period plus two (2) one-year option periods. Services required include preventive maintenance, repairs, and technical support necessary to maintain the instruments in proper operating condition. SPT Labtech Limited has been identified as the only responsible source capable of providing the required maintenance while maintaining instrument compatibility, performance, and service continuity, as the mosquito® instruments are critical to NICHD's protein crystallization and structural biology research requiring highly accurate and reproducible liquid handling capabilities.

Interested firms, including small business concerns, may submit written capability statements demonstrating their ability to provide the required maintenance and technical support by 9:00 a.m. EDT on September 4, 2026, submitted electronically to danielt@mail.nih.gov. The Government anticipates making an award on or about five (5) calendar days after the closing date, unless another responsible source is determined capable of meeting the requirement.
