About this file

This is a Notice of Intent to Award issued by the Kissimmee Utility Authority (KUA), a Florida-based utility provider. The notice announces KUA's intent to award Invitation for Bid #17-003-CV to Terry's Electric, Inc. for the Marydia Substation No. 01 15 kV Circuit Breaker Replacement project. The project scope involves the replacement of three existing 15 kV oil circuit breakers with three new, owner-furnished 15 kV vacuum circuit breakers at the Marydia Substation. The Notice of Intent was posted on November 22, 2016, and is subject to final approval by the KUA Board. The award does not constitute formation of a binding contract until KUA executes a formal contract or purchase order with the successful bidder containing terms and conditions acceptable to the authority.

KUA reserves the right to revoke the award and proceed to the next lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder if the apparent successful bidder fails to accept, negotiate, and execute the contract. Additionally, KUA retains the right to cancel the Notice of Intent at any time prior to contract execution, reject all bids, cancel the solicitation, or re-solicit at a later time. Any person adversely affected by KUA's award decision must file a written notice of protest with the Vice President of Finance & Risk Management within seventy-two hours, excluding weekends and legal holidays. Interested parties should contact KUA's Purchasing Division to obtain comprehensive written protest procedures before filing a protest.
