About this file
This is an E-Verify Subcontractor Affidavit required by the City of Norcross, Georgia, pursuant to O.C.G.A. 13-10-91. The document establishes compliance requirements for subcontractors performing services on contracts with the City of Norcross. Subcontractors must register with and actively use the federal E-Verify work authorization program throughout the entire contract period. Additionally, subcontractors are required to ensure that any sub-subcontractors they engage also comply with E-Verify requirements by obtaining affidavits from those entities and forwarding notices of receipt to the prime contractor within five business days.
The affidavit requires subcontractors to provide their federal work authorization user identification number and date of authorization, along with the project name and public employer information. The document must be executed under penalty of perjury by an authorized officer or agent of the subcontracting firm and notarized. There are no pricing terms, set-asides, or funding information contained in this compliance document; it functions solely as a verification mechanism to ensure workforce authorization compliance as mandated by Georgia state law.
